Outboard Conversions at Jones Boatyard
Meet Estelle, a late 1970’s Fairline Mirage originally fitted with twin Volvo Penta AQ140 petrol engines and Volvo Penta outdrives. This was one of the first outboard conversion projects we had undertaken, but both the reaction from our customers and the final outcome were outstanding.
The results we think speak for themselves, giving the boat a new lease of life along with many years of reliable and hassle free boating!
The transom was glassed over in preparation for the new outboard pod. The outboard of choice was a new Honda Marine BF50, along with new Honda top mount remotes and gauges.
